Q. What is MyVideoGameList.com?
A. MyVideoGameList.com (also knows as MVGL) is a website which allows users to keep track of the video games they've played, or are playing. Users can maintain a profile, games list, wish list and favorites. We also have message boards where users can interact and discuss games and other subjects.

Q. Who runs MyVideoGameList.com?
A. Currently at this time MVGL is run solely by jimmyb. In the future as the website grows we may add further staff to spread out the various site tasks.

Q. Do you offer a paid or VIP type account with more features?
A. At this time, all accounts are equal in the features they have and they're free to everyone. You can add as many games to your lists as you'd like, comment on anyones profile, add games to our database. There's no restrictions! In the future it may be something we consider adding

Q. I registered a new account but haven't gotten my Welcome Email.
A. Check your Junk/Spam folders, sometimes email makes it way in there. If the email isn't in your Junk folder and it's been more then 2 hours, submit a support request in the forums so we can take a further look. Be sure to include the email address used at the time of registration in your request.

Q. I seem to have forgotten my password, can you help?
A. You may use our Forgot Password feature here.

Q. I can't seem to update my avatar or profile image.
A. Avatar images need to be either PNG, GIF, JPEG or JPG formats and 100kbs or smaller, and profile images need to be PNG, GIF, JPEG or JPG formats and 150kbs or smaller. If you're still having issues uploading a new image, please open a support thread in our forums.

Q. Can I change my username?
A Currently there's no way to change your username. We may however develop some functions which allow for this in the future.

Q. Do you regularly remove inactive accounts?
A. We do not remove any accounts regardless of age or length of non-activity except for those explicity those deleted by the user. The username however remains marked as used. At the moment we do not release these deleted accounts/usernames to be reused. This may be something we change in the future however.

Q. I can't find a game to add to my list!
A. While we do have many games in our database, we rely on users like you to help us fill the gaps and add games to our database. If you'd like to contribute, just head on over to this page to add the game to the database.

Q. How come I can't edit Completed games?
A. We don't allow editing of completed games because we feel once it's done, it's done. You can replay it as many times as you want, but our system is only interested in your initial play-through. We may however change this behavior in the future should the need be found.

Q. I found a typo or other mistake on one of the game profiles.
A. For any issues with game profiles and mistakes or issues, please submit a new support thread with as much information as possible so we can further investigate.
