Game Review - Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage on Nintendo Gameboy Advance

Written by twinkle_snow on March 15, 2015 @ 10:28 am

When I was a little kid, I was (and sort of still am) a huge fan of both Spyro and Crash. So seeing that there was a game that made a crossover between both worlds I was pretty excited. I actually wasn't able to play this game during my childhood because it wasn't avaibable where I live, plus not having owned a Gameboy Advance till later on in my life. Anyway, when I did get to play the game though, one word just popped in my mind while doing so: disappointment. What on earth is this game?! There is no plot. One would think that they'd make an adventure platformer game like the previous installments of each of these games, but instead they made a bunch of weird, repetitive and extremelly dificult mini games. I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone, unless they wanted to have a physical copy of it to complete their Spyro or Crash game collection.
