The continued adventures of Ghat, who will struggle against new & old conflicts. Father-Mother, the mysterious Golem & new characters will be making an appearance in Zeno Clash II. The story takes place right after Zeno Clash 1; The story starts with Rimat, one of Ghat's siblings, asking him to help her break Father-Mother out of jail.

The game has all of the previous game's mechanics, but also introduces many new ones. The game has added the ability to juggle enemies, popping them up into the air via many different methods; it also includes a more varied counter system, as well as the ability to aim punches. It also features light RPG elements, such as the ability to level up stats. These stats are: health, stamina, strength and leadership. The game will feature co-op, with the second player playing as Rimat.
