Hi there! I'm Aiselne. Video games are my passion, especially older-gen and niche titles. Sony PlayStation was my first love (and still is), followed closely by Nintendo handhelds.

My favorite video game genres include (but aren't limited to) action/adventure, survival horror, visual novels, JRPGs, and fighting games. Dominantly I like games with strong stories/narratives and characters. I do consider video game graphics to be art forms, so I appreciate a variety of visual styles from uber-realism to anime/comic/cell-shaded graphics. Games with strong musical scores tend to leave lasting impressions on me, too, making me a total sucker for limited editions that come with CD soundtracks.

Gameplay-wise, I enjoy a variety of styles: from classic platforming to text-heavy visual novels. Games that scare the hell out of me are always fun. I also get a lot of millage out of exploration-esque games that let you roam very inch of exotic lands again and again. Character customization is nice as long as it isn't excessively complicated to grasp. And I do have a weakness for those flashy, over-the-top, high-octane, hack-and-slash action games.
