The N-Gage installment of Colin McRae Rally 2005 lets players race through eight different countries: Australia, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Kenya, Sweden and the UK. The game features 16 fully licensed different rally cars in four classes. Weather influences racing with control becoming slightly more difficult in rain and snow. Performance tuning includes tires, gears, power, break balance, brake power, steering sensitivity and suspension. Unlike Asphalt, this game features visible and performance damage so that ramming into too many of your friends will cause you to lose control, as well as visibly beat up your car. To fix this, the player receives up to an hour in between races to fix and customize their vehicle for the next one. Players can make use of shadow-racing to race against their friends' best runs and compete locally against one another via Bluetooth.
