Far Gate is a real-time strategy game set in space. After finding what seems to be another inhabitable planet not far from the Solar System, colonists are sent to the new planet, only to find that it isn't inhabitable at all. What they do find is two new races, completely different from human beings:

• The Nue-Guyen: An organic based species whose units are living entities.
• The Entrodii: Crystalline based life forms that see no use for organics. Both are out to destroy the human race from the galaxy. And factions on Earth are starting to cause major problems in addition.

It is up to you and your command fleet to protect Earth from the many enemies, both human and non-human, using all of the technologically advanced space ships available to you.

It features real-time rendered 3D graphics and a true 3D environment in which to wage wars and conquer solar systems. Your goal is to lead the Proximan colonists to safety, back to Terra to bring your vengeance to bear on those who have betrayed them.
