Rune: Halls of Valhalla is the expansion pack for the successful Viking third-person game, Rune. The expansion pack is a both a stand alone AND an expansion game for Rune, adding 33 new maps, lots of new characters, and new game modes such as Arena and Headball. It's killing or is killed in the Arena mode as gamers compete in one-on-one duels against varying opponents. Similar to the original game, Rune: Halls of Valhalla will utilize an enhanced version of Epic Games' Unreal Tournament game engine and will feature amazingly life-like animations, a detailed weapon system and a unique combat system.

Halls of Valhalla expands the brutal action of the original melee-combat title Rune.

• Halls of Valhalla features two all-new multiplayer modes, in addition to Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch. • Arena: Duel to the death in fierce head-to-head combat. • Headball: Rip off your enemies' heads and limbs and toss them through the hoop to score. Wage fierce battles in more than 30 levels, including: • Deathmatch Maps • Contest-Winning Deathmatch Maps • Team Deathmatch Maps • Arena Maps • Head Ball Maps • Play as any of the original Rune models, or choose from nearly two dozen new characters, including the Mongol, Syrian, Gold Valkyrie, Wren Valkyrie, and Gladiators Romulus and Remus.
