In the post-Gagharv era, the land of El Phildin is consumed by a bitter war. As its citizens fight to survive, one will be taken by the darkness. The Legend of Heroes is a turn-based role-playing game set in the fantasy world of El Philden. The Legend of Heroes features hundreds of characters to interact with, including 14 playable ones, such as Avin. You can explore 3D environments as you progress through more than 50 hours of gameplay. The Legend of Heroes also expands upon other games in the genres with the inclusion of pets that can assist you in battle and collect items.

A Tear of Vermillion is a remake of the Japanese PC game Legend of heroes IV: Akai Shizuku. The word Gagharv (in the Japanese title of the remake) refers to the chasm that separates the continent Tirasweel, where the games takes place, from the rest of the world.
