Million of years ago, before the "Big Freeze" covered our planet's deserts with ice, a caveman's life was not an easy one! These were the good old prehistoric days when fires were lit by stray bolts of lightning and tools were still made of wood and stone! Although this was the only lifestyle known to Joe & Mac (two of our earliest ancestors), it still had its good side, being: lots of berry juice, dinosaurs to dine on, and cavegirls to amuse them! The one moonlit night, while Joe & Mac are hunting in the mountains some unfriendly neighbors wreck their village and kidnap their women-folk! These missing girls are now alone in the wilderness, and Joe & Mac are the only cavemen available to rescue them!

Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja features the characters Joe and Mac as cavemen ninjas in a multi-level platform area where the player has to jump and club incoming enemies. They can also throw at them from distance using such weapons as boomerangs, bones, fire, flints, electricity and stone wheels. The objective of the game is to rescue a group of girls who were kidnapped by a rival tribe.
