Nicole Bonnet, a young but experienced FBI agent, conducts the investigation of mysterious, brutal murders. Left to her own devices, she must face new difficulties and undertake a journey through two continents - from France and Spain to the exotic Cuba. The investigation leads her to surprising discoveries - a series of events from centuries ago.

What is the link between the seemingly random victims? What are the motives of the ruthless killer? And first of all - Who is responsible for these crimes?
