Selphine, the princess somehow spirited away halfway around the globe, continues her travels with her party. They have managed to safely find their way out of the Outer-Pole region, arriving at Viscanta’s Port Sasary.

In this town bustling with travelers, Selphine and company come across a boy named Sol, who works as a guide around the city for travelers. With her guidance, the girls tour the more attractive areas in town in their search for a place to stay. However, there is another aspect to Port Sasary hidden beneath the waves…

Meanwhile, Rughzenhaide is in a state of chaos following the attack on the castle.Several days have passed since the assault, during which Ritona and Selphine disappeared… Ritona’s best friends and the royal court are split as to whether to devote manpower to search for the girls or to focus on defense of the country.

“fault” is an episodic Visual/Cinematic Novel series. Episodes are called “milestones” and usually are about 4~6 hours in length.

fault’s production cycle is heavily influenced by the Japanese manga industry, releasing a comic every 6~8 months with an on going story. To clear a common misconception; fault is not a trilogy. It is also not purely Fantasy as much of the tone is heavily influenced by Science Fiction and focuses more on human drama rather than flashy battles and wizardry. It’s methodical narrative is a homage to the Science Fiction Genre of the 70~80’s.
