With additional stories, new gameplay, special bosses, and more, “Genroku Legends” will reveal new chapters in the Muramasa Rebirth tale. Featuring entirely new stories set in the Muramasa universe, Genroku Legends (Genroku Kaikitan in Japanese) contains four tales based on Japanese folklore. Players will be able to control four entirely new characters, each with a very different fighting style, ranging from Okoi, who uses her claws to fight, to Gonbe, the farmer with one strong hoe for a weapon!

'A Spirited Seven Nights' Haunting' is the third installment of the 'Genroku Legends', a series of stories that take place in the world of 'Muramasa Rebirth'. In this chapter, you'll play as Arashimaru, a world-weary ninja who was assigned to assassinate a high-ranking samurai and steal the sacred treasure he was guarding. During his mission, the truth of his past came out into the light, unraveling the fabric of his existence and causing him to turn against his ninja clan. While trying to take out a band of ninjas sent to kill him, Arashimaru inadvertently destroys the shrine of the water goddess Inaraki, who immediately curses him to die in seven days for his act of desecration. With the clock counting down to his inescapable death, will Arashimaru be able to find vengeance and redemption before time runs out?

Featuring a new story, a new fighting style, and new bosses, 'A Spirited Seven Nights' Haunting' is an action-packed adventure for those in need of more Muramasa action. Players will even be able to test their skills with Gonbe against any of the bosses from both of the original Muramasa Rebirth storylines!
