Metal Command is an action shooting game. It is set in the year 2427, at a time where renegade forces have left the Earth confederation and are fighting amongst themselves throughout the galaxy. Jack Smith, a commando with the Earth Marines, is sent on a solo mission to Xelos IV to clear the site of the high-tech NX Facility to eliminate all enemies and then return alive. He has to run and shoot his way through the facility, while minding his health meter. Items and weapons can be gained by searching through cargo boxes.
