The first half of Season 1 follows Ji Hoon and Seo Hyun as they investigate the disappearance of the White Island residents while the latter half portrays the story from Jae's perspective as he uncovers the island's hidden secrets. Later episodes expand the series backstory with players experiencing the origin story of Sunny and the fate of Seo Hyun following the events on White Island.
