In a world of dark shadows and ghostly ghouls, comes a mysterious wizard! Aided by his mystical fire projectile that encapsulates and eliminates the enemy, our hero will emerge victorious... Prepare to burn all those who stand in your way! Allow nothing to stand before you, you have the power to create your own devilish nightmare. Just remember, if you can't join em, burn em. Karma comes calling eventually. Nightmare in the Dark was released only for NEO GEO MVS arcade system, never released for home consoles. In each one of the levels, you throw fireballs at ghouls, ghosts, goblins, and zombies. When you keep throwing fireballs at these enemies, they will ignite into a giant fireball, which you can throw at other enemies to kill them, and get the remaining treasure before moving on to the next level.
