NASCAR '99 features 31 NASCAR drivers and their cars, as well as six legendary drivers. There is a total of 17 real-life tracks representing locales like Atlanta, Charlotte, and California. Of course, no NASCAR game would be complete without tweaking options, and NASCAR '99 is no exception. You can fine-tune your car in a variety of categories from gear ratios to weight distribution to get your ride running perfectly for each track. Your car can also take realistic damage, so you will have to be careful when you barrel into those corners. Benny Parsons and ESPN's Bob Jenkins handle the announcing duties, and your pit crew will occasionally chime in with instructions, adding even more realism to the game. So slip into your fire retardant suit and strap yourself into one of the best NASCAR games around.
