It is a PlayStation turn-based role-playing video game in which the player controls a new Mew Mew, Ringo Akai, as well as the original five heroines. They must defend Ringo's island from Quiche, the Chimera Animas and a new alien named Gateau du Roi.

Both Ringo Akai and Gateau were created by the manga's artist, Mia Ikumi, following design specifications from Takara.
