Yu-Gi-Oh! BAM was a web-based game, playable through Facebook or Kongregate. Frima Studio were contracted by Konami to develop the game; Konami, however, maintains publishing rights. The game closed on September 30, 2014, but still existed as the mobile game Yu-Gi-Oh! BAM Pocket until September 9, 2016, when the servers were shut down.
The game included over 700 cards (99 of which are exclusive to the Crafting feature, and 13 of which are sold Christmas only) as of March 1, 2013.
The game included 15 different Power-Ups.
The majority of the cards had a different effect compared to its TCG/OCG counterpart.
The way monsters are compared in this game is similar to the effect of "Subspace Battle".
Booster Packs were introduced on December 12, 2012.
