Indiana Jones and the Lost Puzzles is a puzzle game where Indiana Jones has to create chains by jumping between tiles of different colours. Three or more tiles of the same colour have to be jumped over and they are then replaced by other tiles. Longer chains give more points as well as extra time and joker tiles which can be chained with any colour. The basic goal is to collect a given number of tiles before time runs out. Obstacles include snakes, spike tiles and fragile rocks. Power ups appear occasionally and can give bonus points, extra time or clear the board of obstacles.

Game modes include classic puzzles (as described above), advanced puzzles with different types of goals and conditions that have to be taken into account and something called Ruins of Adventure. In it Indy explores ruins to find hidden treasure chambers. By completing puzzles gems are collected and when all slots of the chamber key are filled or closed the door will open and the player is rewarded with an amount of golden idols.
