The Pillar is the second Challenge Tomb DLC for Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It adds Path of Huracan as a new challenge tomb available right away from the main menu. The tomb can be completed as a score attack, a time attack or in exploration mode. It cannot be played cooperatively.

The tomb can also be discovered in a more natural way through the single-player story as The Age Makers side mission. It builds heavily on the game's story with several important characters involved. Unlike most other tombs the entire mission is sprawling following a largely linear path with multiple sections offering different gameplay, rather than a single location where most of the time is spent solving puzzles. In the Skull Cave Lara needs to talk to Q'orianka to start the mission. Continuing events from the main story she is now after the Shield of the Age Maker to use it in the rebellion. Once the starting location has been found the challenge tomb also starts right away, first with a platforming section in a dark cave and then finding a path on a giant vertical rock. Next to the platforming there are several puzzles to solve and wind also plays an important role as there are many parts where Lara can be blown off during a storm.

Rather than ending the mission at the end of the tomb and providing all the rewards, there is a twist and Lara only receives the new skill. What follows is another extensive section involving platforming and several fights against many different types of enemies. As Lara chases after the shield the mission needs to be finished by returning to Q'orianka for the conclusion.

The rewards are A Thousand Eyes as a new skill that allows Lara's Survival Instincts to stay active when moving through tree canopies or concealment walls, Oathtaker's Bow - Eternal Sentinel as a new weapon, and a new Honor Guard version of the Sinchi Chiqa Battle Dress outfit.
