Kokoro Connect: Yochi Random

Kokoro Connect is a non-adult visual novel that originated on PSP, based on the manga and anime TV series with the same name, but featuring original scenario. This story focuses on five lead characters: Iori Nagase, Himeko Inaba, Taichi Yaegashi, Yoshifumi Aoki, and Yui Kiriyama, with scenario and full voice-acting for each of them, including the protagonist. The player takes a role of Taichi Yaegashi, a student in a Shiritsuyamahoshi (私立山星) high-school, and a member of a Culture Research Club. After a strange incident with cardiospermum halicacabum plant, the member of the Culture Research Club started to experience strange premonitions. During those premonitions, they would appear at the random place, with the random people at random time, often finding themselves in a situation very different from their reality.

During the course of the story, point of view jumps from character to character, and their actions and choices branch the story toward one of the multiple endings. The game also features story graph which shows you which direction you took, where did you story branch, and at which point in the story you currently are. Events in the story can be re-played with the point of view from multiple characters. Aside from that, the bulk of the game still consists of the same elements that make a visual novel game what it is... visual (CG events with anime character art on top of background location art) and novel (text window during storytelling and fully voice-acted dialogues). Unlockable bonus content such as event scene galleries and music player, can be accessed via main menu.

This initial retail release, unlike the digital release, comes with several bonuses inside the package:

* Voucher for downloading 10 PSP themes and a playable bonus scenario
* Culture Research Club newspaper (two-sided A4 size)
* Collectible card featuring game character

The voucher for downloading bonus content was valid only from October 18, 2012 until October 18, 2013.
