Young Kanata is separated from his parents and whisked away to Oblivion Island, a junkyard of lost toys, from which he must escape. This game is a tie-in to the CG anime, Haruka and the Magic Mirror.

Hottarake no Shima: Kanata to Nijiiro no Kagami is like a mix of The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Landstalker. Each area is an isometric 3D room containing objects like spring loaded platforms and deranged octopus toys to fight. You tap on enemies, just like the Phantom Hourglass to whack them.
