Every comic book junkie knows the origins of Spawn (AKA Al Simmons). A successful government agent, Simmons ended up in the bowels of Hell after his own men killed him. After striking a deal with the big bad devil, Malebolgia, Simmons returned to Earth as Spawn, only to find his wife married off to his best pal. Now Spawn has little to do but work for the redemption of his own beleaguered soul. Todd McFarlane's ultra-successful empire has "spawned" several lines of action figures, a live-action movie, and animated features. Now, in SPAWN: The Eternal, you must rage through time and the fire with a familiar cast of characters Violator, the Phlebiac Brothers, Mr. C, Soul Trapper, the Glass Spiders, Medieval Spawn, and Angel while separating limbs from your enemies, vanquishing them to the ring of Hell from which the came.
