The Tower is a one-button game where the objective is to build a tower as high as possible. The player starts with a ground structure and has to add more and more blocks onto it. The blocks move left and right and the player taps the screen when it appears right over the structure. For every placement that is less than perfect, a piece of the block is cut off and also the next block will have the smaller size. The game ends when the player misses the tower with a block.

The player earns coins for each block placed and these can be spent on three different boosters. These include a headstart which auto-builds the first few stories, a coin doubler, and an insurance which gives an extra life. Coins can also be used to unlock new tower styles.
