Record of Agarest War Zero, known as Agarest Senki Zero in Japan, is a tactical role-playing game developed by Compile Heart and Red Entertainment. It was published in Japan by Idea Factory on June 25, 2009 for the PlayStation 3. It is the prequel to the 2007 game Record of Agarest War.

This story takes place 1000 years before the first game. Agarest was peaceful because of the balance in power between the Light and Dark forces. However,an army of the Dark forces crossed the border and Siegheit from the Light forces saves a girl named Mimel while on duty. He then got a special “power” from her. The main goal of the hero (Siegheit) is to find the key object to defeat your enemies,and the goal for his son Leonis is to protect it.
