Real Soccer 2011 is the sixth 3D game in the Real Football series and the third one for touch screen devices. The game has updated visuals but plays similarly to the previous versions. It uses a virtual d-pad to move players around and three on-screen buttons to pass, shot and sprint. By dragging the buttons upwards or to the side it's also possible to do lob shots and fake shots as well as crosses and long passes. Tapping the screen twice leads to a flip flap while dragging a circle leads to a Marseille roulette (Zidane turn).
The game carries a FIFPro licence which means that it features real life players but it does not have any real team or competition names. The game contains the common game modes from previous versions like friendlies, cups and leagues as well as the online RF League and the two additions of Real Soccer 2010: Enter the Legend and Club Master. New in this release is the History mode which works similar to the challenge modes that have been in the serie's 2D releases since the 2008 edition. There is also an editor which can be used to edit team line-ups and swap player between teams.
