BRAVOMAN: Binja Bash is a side-scrolling, auto-running platform game where the player takes control of a bionic tokusatsu hero named Bravoman, as he makes his way through Neo-Kyoto, fighting Dr. Bomb's evil "binjas" (robotic ninjas based on henchman Benjamin). The game is a followup to the earlier arcade/TurboGrafx-16 release Bravoman, but also features characters and situations from the newer Bravoman webcomics on the ShiftyLook website.
As an auto-run platformer the player does not control Bravoman's forward motion; Bravoman will continue to run forward as long as the path is clear. To jump, the player presses on the "jump" button at the left side of the screen; tapping twice will produce a double jump to clear higher platforms. Bravoman also has a bionic extending arm that he can use to "grab" points on the screen and swing across, or he can use the arm as his primary method of attack. Enemies destroyed will leave behind parts for Bravoman to collect, which can then be used to "build" (unlock) more characters like Alpha Man, Waya Hime, and Anti-Bravoman. The various characters all have different special moves and endings, along with a special ending for those players who complete all characters' story arcs.
