Ecsaform is a tactical RPG game released by Bandai in 1999.

The old civilization of mankind using nanotechnology altered the ecosystem. The current civilization is the civilization of certain scientists that try to analyze the nanotechnology using a nano-machine fusion and try to convert human beings into more advanced species, and they have tried to emulate transformation using a nano-machine fusion and the body of the main character is converted to emulate nanotechnology.

Long forgotten by his countrymen, an old scientist decides to take revenge by creating robots mechas mi humans, Ecsaforms. He created and 2 identical to destroy the world. But his plan when it turns to vinegar remark that one of Ecsaform (the hero of the game) has no desire to do evil and fled the laboratory. It was then that begins this great adventure that is the basis for a theme relatively lambda, overfished in the world of Japanese animation by Evangelion, Metropolis and others: The robot exceed Does man one day and possess - it is a soul concrete?

The universe is Ecsaform interressant. New age, it shows the characters and totally liberated accustomed to high technology.. The places visited are therefore relatively futuristic. The world is chaotic Ecsaform, everything seems ravaged, unfit, perverse. A quite unique ambience emerges from this game and it is by far its greatest strength. Thus the characters also are unique, displaying a style that was both fantasy and punk, a mix that seems logical in this universe and that does not distorts the atmosphere.
