Souls give the Shinki Church great magical powers and allows them to develop their technology. So the church sends their Makina, massive mechanical beasts to prowl the land and hunt the People of the Light.

Sol Trigger, a group of warriors with golden souls is the last hope of their people. They alone can power great weapons that destroy the metallic skin of the Makina. But every time they wield it, they are burning away a bit of their lives. These weapons use souls as fuel.

The more the Trigger uses a certain skill, the more powerful it becomes. And the same rule applies to their weapons. And when their soul power diminishes, they have to return to their base to get replenished. However, there is only so much souls each base carries.

Attack wisely, or risk annihilation.
