Elsword is a free-to-play, online action RPG that uses classic side-scrolling beat ‘em up gameplay mechanics and deep customization to bring a unique manga experience to life.

Elsword Online takes place in the world of Elrios, where the land was once rumored to be forsaken by the gods themselves. Some even whispered that it was the playground of the demon gods. A few decades have passed and Elrios is now protected by the powers from the Tree of El. However, peace and prosperity can only last for so long when evil still exists. Recently, the Tree of El’s powers began to weaken and the super continent, Elrios, will never be the same again. The story unfolds as three young heroes seek out to discover the mysterious evil that is causing the Tree of El’s powers to weaken. Elsword, young and ambitious, joins the kingdom’s El Search Party to follow his older sister’s footsteps. Aisha, naïve and mischievous, sets off to find the villain who transferred her powers through an ancient ring. Rena, a wise spirit, feels the El’s resonance from the Tree of Light and is chosen by the Elders to find it. Destiny has set these three heroes to tread the same path for this important mission. Further in their adventures, the Party grows with new members, each bringing in unique skills and more meaning to their common purpose.

FIELD: The fields of Elrios are overrun with monsters, and if you are not careful, your health may be wasted even before you get to enter a dungeon or complete your quests. On the bright side, fields provide plenty of opportunities to gather loot and gain experience without the strict scorekeeping and clearing requirement of dungeons. DUNGEON: Dungeon play is the core of Elsword Online. You will find that each dungeon has its own part in the story and you will eventually get to play all of them. You can play a dungeon by yourself or in a party of up to 4 players. PVP ARENA: What’s an MMORPG without some serious competition? All that hard work training and practicing new combos needs to be displayed and recognized! Elsword provides players with a competitive PvP system with a real-time ranking structure. Casual gamers can take a quick dive in and tough it out with other casual players, while hard-core gamers can fight to stay on top of the ranks. In addition, players can rack up Arena Points (AP) to buy items from the arena store. Not convinced yet? Joining the ranked arena matches will also give you a chance to fight the Epic computer players. If you think you’re just too good for the arena, think again! These legendary computer characters are so great in battle that you just might pull your hair out after coming across one. Still, the reward is good and the bragging rights will be yours if you defeat them.

Gear Up! Anyone can make it through Elsword Online without spending a dime. You can find various weapons and equipment in dungeons, or earn them through quests. You can even craft some gear using various dungeon drops with the help of village NPCs. Special costumes and other items are also available to make your character both powerful and unique.

PETS: Protecting Elrios and searching for the El Shards at the same time can be a tedious task. That’s why we are bringing in a little backup for our adventurers to defeat those pesky demons! It’s always nice to bring a sidekick along when it is time to tear through the hordes of baddies. Why become a pet owner? Can we say cuteness overload? Come on, this one’s a no-brainer! All cuteness aside, the pet system is quite complex but helpful to the pet owner in various ways. Pets are not just for the owners to admire and show off. In fact, they really serve as your sidekick! A pet will help its master fight through dungeons by using its attack, buff and passive skills. MOUNTS: Take a ride! The Mount System is another fun feature of Elsword Online. Similar to a pet, a mount is an optional companion you may bring on your El adventures. The main difference is that you can ride it! It also has its own set of skills and a stamina gauge. THE PERKS OF RIDING A MOUNT: - Take Charge! Rule over your enemies with the unusual abilities of your mount. -Greater Speed. Riding a mount allows you to move 25% faster than usual. -Additional Buffs. When in use, a mount may increase your physical and magical defense, resistance to certain elements, and HP recovery abilities. SKILL UPGRADE: Skills maxed out? Don’t feel powerful enough to handle those boss battles? Or maybe you just want to deal more damage to your opponent in a one-on-one duel? (What are we saying? Of course you do!) This is the perfect time to learn about the Skill Notebook and how enhancing your current skills can spice things up, battle-wise. Skill Notes added to your skill notebook don’t just make current skills stronger, but actually modify them. For instance, a previous skill could be modified to add stun and increase combo hits. A skill completely useless to your fighting style previously can now be a critical one. Now you can alternate between more combo variations! Read through this guide to get your skill notebook and first skill note. It’s not going to be an easy task but it will be worth the trouble! Then you two must get together and become a couple first. EQUIPMENT UPGRADES: Enrich your Elsword experience with equipment upgrades! In Elsword Online, there are three ways to improve the equipment your character uses to defend against opponents. These are enhancement, socketing, and crafting. As you journey through the game, you will notice that you need to become more powerful. This is because the monsters and bosses become more difficult to beat as you progress through the game. You must enhance your equipment to increase your chances of surviving dungeon runs and PvP battles. Enhancing armor or weapon equipment will make it more powerful. VIDEO RECORDING: Due to popular demand, Elsword Online now has a video recording feature. Now you can finally record that epic boss fight, arena battles, and even your own instruction videos to help new players out with combos! Use this feature to create videos you can share with friends through your favorite video sharing website. You can also edit the videos to your liking to give them a customized look.
