In the realm of science fiction, the power to control time can be classified as the holy grail of science. With this power, what can you do? Undo past mistakes, re-experience memorable days of your life, or can you cheat death to save the life of the ones closest to you?

Rintarou Okabe (a.k.a Okarin, Hououin Kyouma), a self-proclaimed mad scientist who spends his time developing oddball gadgets with his friends in their makeshift laboratory, accidentally discovers that one of their inventions can send emails into the past using a modified microwave. As they perform different experiments from this invention, an organization named SERN who has been doing their own research on time travel starts to track them down. And to include all temporal plains, a person with the alias “John Titor” makes contact through a forum - apparently from a dystopian future…
