Midnight Bowling 2 is a bowling game for mobile devices. The game plays similarly to the original game in the series with the same controls and a first person viewpoint. Playing is done in four steps: first a position is set, then the power is set with the use of a power bar and finally the direction is set. Once the ball is rolling down the lane it is possible to add spin to it.

The game contains an instant play mode, a career mode, a battle mode and a challenge mode. The career mode consists of a number of unlockable locations with their own AI opponents. Each location has three games: single, battle and challenge and all have to be completed to unlock the next location. By playing the games points can be earned and then used to improve the character's spin, strength and accuracy while money can be earned and used to buy various things.
