The game is set in the same universe as Philosoma, which was a shoot-em-up for the Playstation. The story of Phase Paradox tells what happens in the Gallant, a spacecraft carrier which was heavly damaged after the explosion of Planet 220. After which 20% of the crew is either dead or injured by the impact. Some of the survivors are going crazy. But even worst, unknown creatures begin to roam the ship.
