Blizzard's aim with Heroes of the Storm is to create a unique brawler focusing on teamwork and playing with your team. Heroes isn't about individual players, especially those who love carrying their team, getting all the spotlight. To that end, there's no last-hitting and players don't level up in Heroes of the Storm, teams do. If one Hero earns a lot of experience and levels up, the whole team will.
