Guilty Gear -STRIVE-, also originally referred to as New Guilty Gear and Guilty Gear (2020), is a new upcoming game in the Guilty Gear series that was announced at EVO 2019. Nothing much is known about this entry, aside from Daisuke Ishiwatari stating that it will be like “a completely new Guilty Gear”. Daisuke also later stated at Tokyo Game Show 2019 that the game would not be another Guilty Gear Xrd title, it would also not be a numbered title like Guilty Gear 2: Overture, and that not all the characters from Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 would be coming back.
