Bygg båtar med Mulle Meck - specialversion is a customised version of the original 'Bygg Båtar med Mulle Meck', sponsored by the Swedish company Hemglass, a producer and distributor of icecream products. It was sold from the Hemglass ice-cream vans distributing their wares.

Most of the game is identical to the original version, but there are some differences, making this a cut-down release:

Some items are available already from the start, like the complete map, which in the original game was acquired in pieces, as rewards for completing certain quests. Here we have it in full from the beginning, so some quests to get these pieces are missing.

The special version has one extra location, an icecream kiosk using the logo of Hemglass, but it also lacks a compass part needed to navigate a foggy area, which means some areas on the map are inaccessible.
