Diana is the second daughter of the prestigious Ashley family, who have a long history as excellent knights, but find themselves in a precarious position. She has been raised with care, as a sheltered and dutiful noble daughter.

However, the sudden disappearance of her older sister, the famed Aether Knight, Luna Ashley, upsets the delicate balance of her life. Her family's standing seems to decline by the day, as they get closer and closer to becoming a fallen noble family...

She sees her father, Robert Ashley, who serves as the knights commander in the Imperial Army, suffer and lose weight every day, Diana spends her days wondering if there's anything she can do to help her family, and most importantly her beloved father. Caught by the romantic stories of "Adventurers" and the "Adventurers Guild", Deanna decides to become an adventurer without telling her father.

Diana sets out on an adventure, where many varied encounters, difficult partings, and harsh realities await her.
