This is a compilation containing two side scrolling shooters from Konami: -Gradius III -Gradius IV Both games are straight emulation of their arcade counterparts, though some additional features are also included (adjustable difficulty and speed, a stage select option, and some extra game modes). Also, a new 3D introduction movie was created to introduce the games.

Fans of the original arcade game can look forward to several enhancements like additional play modes and upgraded graphics that utilize environmental mapping and polygon morphing. An easy mode has also been implemented for series beginners, and two brand new CG movie demos enhance the presentation of the originals. There's even a stage selection mode and easy continue feature not previously available in any version of the games. Released exclusively for the PlayStation 2.
