You are Yuhan, an apprentice in a weapon rental shop inside an RPG. It's your job to forge and rent weapons to the seven misfit heroes and various NPCs that come your way. Why rental? Sure, there's a risk that a hero will fail their quest and lose your weapon, but if they succeed, you'll get your weapon back, get paid, and earn a returning customer. With the dreaded Evil Lord's return looking nigh, it wouldnt hurt to have more well-equipped heroes running around, either... Match your customer to a weapon and forge it to the rhythm! Tap your Nintendo 3DS in time with the music, balance the heat of your materials, and make sure that your hammer strikes true to create a weapon that really shines. Follow your customers' adventures on the "Grindcast," a special feed built into each weapon that sends every encounter, discovery, and conversation it hears back to you!

• FIND THE RHYTHM OF YOUR HAMMER Groove along to the beats of the hammer falls, tapping your Nintendo 3DS Touch Screen to the rhythm in order to forge your shop's weapons. The higher your CHAIN, the stronger and sharper the weapon will turn out! Any blacksmith worth his steel also knows that you have to strike while the iron is hot! Make sure to watch the weapon's temperature, which will affect its critical hit rate, durability, and special properties!

• HEROES NEED HELP These aren't your average clients! A colorful cast of zany, misfit heroes will become regulars at your store, and it's up to you to give them the weapons they need to complete their personal quests. From the up-and-coming hero, Friedel Schlintz, to the notorious lady pirate, Captain Malibu, you'll have no shortage of demand! After you rent out the weapon, you can follow their individual sagas on the "Grindcast," the aptly named stream of their encounters, battles, and drama!

• HIGH RISK, HIGH REWARD Aiding your customers in their quests will yield materials that can be used to give weapons special properties, from elemental attributes to status effects. Keep your weapons polished to give them stat bonuses, and try to keep a healthy stock on hand for any NPCs that might come wandering in! But if your heroes fail the quest, the weapon you've put so much work into will be lost. The return of the dreaded Evil Lord is nigh, so keep an eye out for fiends that may cross your clients' path!
