Long ago, legend has it that the benevolent god Ketzal created a series of majestic temples in the spirit world. Suddenly, the evil destroyer god Koruptal invaded, and stole untold numbers of hearts - the source of Ketzal's power. These hearts were scattered throughout the land. With the spirit world in chaos, Ketzal's loyal servant Xolo set out to recruit a group of powerful guardians, capable of retrieving the hearts and restoring peace to the world.
