Hello! Very sorry for the late reply, MVGL doesn’t seem to notify that I had a new profile comment. It’s a bit of a mixture of me being both a completionist (Any game I start I will eventually finish), as well as not necessarily writing off a particular videogame series if I happen to dislike one entry. I think one of the main factors contributing to the multitude of games I have played is that I’ve been lucky with having a friend who was the owner of a second-hand videogames store; where he’d let me borrow games for free rather than pay for them. Maybe if I had to pay full price for a lot of the games I have played I would have been more reluctant at playing a new game in a series i have previously not been fond of. There are other factors at play as well though, like me liking a particular game series in my youth, but upon revisiting them now they don’t hold up anymore. Many of the games listed I haven’t played in years and am going off memory when I try and remember how much I liked/disliked them, so some games i may appreciate more upon replaying them. One last thing, even if I were to give a game a low score there may be still some aspects I got enjoyment from (e.g. story, some of the gameplay elements), so I rarely regret/hate playing a game, no matter how bad it ultimately may be as a whole.

For some reason, I get some serious Dictator vibes from Kokichi. I can totally imagine him having a complete freak out like Nagato did, however I do think he'll be more 'redeeming', so to speak, as Nagato never really had that moment where you felt he wasn't a twisted person. I'm interested in Shuichi, I kind of get female vibes from him, however I feel like they'll probably die since detectives are either very prominent characters in stories like these or people who die early on. And yeah, I got completely fooled. I wasn't looking forward to play as a robot, but Kaede I am keen for, since she moves away from the "relatable, average" Hinata/Naegi, although she seems to still endorse typical protagonist traits.

Yeah I feel like the characters are the biggest appeal of Danganronpa, all of them are very unique, even if aligned to a particular trope (usually their 'ultimate'). I wonder if Kokichi is going to be like Sonia/Byakuya/Fuyuhiko, those type of 'leaders' usually live, however the game by promotional material looks like it'll focus on Kaede, the Astronaut, Robot and Nursery Teacher. Although the promotional art could've just been fooling us.

I haven't written any reviews yet, I should get on that!
