The 3rd Birthday is a third-person tactical shooter and tactical-action RPG from Square Enix. The game was developed for the PlayStation Portable and marks the third entry in the Parasite Eve series (however, it is not Parasite Eve 3) after Parasite Eve II, which was released in 2000. The game was released on December 22, 2010 in Japan and was released on March 29, 2011 in North America.

The game takes place in Manhattan, in New York City. The players takes on the role of Eve (who assumed the appearance of the original series' protagonist Aya Brea) and must fight against mysterious "Twisted" creatures threatening the city.
