Demonophobia
Demonophobia is a disturbing guro hentai game, involving death, torture and dismemberment with very crude scenes. As such it is recommended for ages 21 or up. The game's protagonist is the girl Sakuri, who tries summoning demons for personal vengeance. She imagined it as a game, but the ritual succeeds and she ends up in hell. Although there is direct control over her actions, the player is cast as the audience who witnesses the story. Sakuri has to go through six levels to undo the ritual and save her village and people.
The game is of the 2D side-scrolling kind with different screens linked together in a maze-like fashion. Sakuri has very little means of defence and instead needs to avoid enemies by running past them, crouching, or quickly moving to a new area. The author appears to aim for shock value, as the game features numerous gruesome and long death sequences with a disturbing amount of detail. As Sakuri is in hell, she never really dies but instead needs to replay the same sequences. At certain moments a checkpoint is provided. The girl has a limited amount of health. As she is hit by enemies, the border colour of her portrait and the facial expression on it is altered.

I have incredibly mixed feelings on this game-- however, on a technical level and gameplay level, it really is just plain...Not that great. There's no sound effects or music present in the game whatsoever and the graphics are passable but very rough. I still wouldn't recommend this game for the faint of heart as despite the primitive nature of the graphics, the gore IS actually quite disturbing, especially later on when sexual acts are incorporated into the mix. I struggle to call the game genuinely difficult, more that the design and controls make it a very frustrating experience. It doesn't feel just difficult-- it feels unfair. I think it's best to watch a playthrough of this on Youtube if you're really curious and don't want to go through that.
