Resident Evil HD Remaster
If you thought the remake looked good, wait until you see the HD version! This is the game that defined the survival-horror genre and launched a franchise that has sold over 61 million copies.
The original Resident Evil was released in 1996, and the remake arrived in 2002. The remake was built from scratch by the same creators and was considered a masterpiece.
Now, over a decade later, and with modern technology we can make the scares even more real in terms of both graphics and sound. The interface has also been updated to meet today's standards.
But don't worry, we made sure not to change anything that made the original the classic that it is. You don't mess with a masterpiece, after all.
Comments
I'm sorry but I hate this game, it doesn't really give the right feels from the original RE and its not really executed better, the additions made in this are not welcome, they don't make sense and add nothing to the story, saga, or context of the game i don't know why Lisa Trevor and her cabin's story had to exist, the change of puzzles is by some miracle more confusing than the classic ones, the back tracking is more repetitive and excrutiating, unlike the classic, you can't really make the game go faster if you want to, the gameplay and especially combat feel stiff and boring, no good soundtrack, the characters feel like zombies with no personality, somehow the voice acting is worse and empty of emotion (at least it was funny in the original), I don't personaly like the new looks but I can understand why people can enjoy it. Why this remake is so famous and the definiton of "Survival Horror" is a mistery to me to this day. But at the end of the day, its hard to get more Resident evil'ish than this, so why not?
