Super Robot Shooting

Super Robot Shooting is a shooter spin‑off of the Super Robot Taisen series, featuring licensed mechs from multiple anime franchises. Before starting a mission, the player selects one of seven robots: Shin Getter Robo (Getter Robo), RX‑93 ν Gundam (Mobile Suit Gundam), Billbine (Aura Battler Dunbine), Reideen (Reideen the Brave), Combattler V (Chōdenji Robo Combattler V), Dancouga (Dancouga: Super Beast Machine God), or Mazinger Z (Mazinger Z).

The game uses a behind‑the‑back perspective in which the chosen mech automatically advances through each stage while the player moves freely within the screen area. The crosshair is tied to the mech’s movement and determines the firing direction. Enemies appear in waves, and the objective is to destroy them and defeat the boss at the end of the level. Incoming attacks reduce the shield gauge, and depletion results in a loss. In addition to the standard shot, each mech has access to a limited‑use super and extra attack.
