Undertale
A long time ago, two races ruled peacefully over the Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS. One day, a terrible war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magical spell. In the year 201X, a small child scales Mt. Ebott. It is said that those who climb the mountain never return. Seeking refuge from the rainy weather, the child enters a cave and discovers an enormous hole. Moving closer to get a better look... the child falls in. Now, our story begins.
Undertale is a traditional role-playing game where no one has to get hurt. Fighting is wholly unnecessary: negotiate your way out of danger using the unique battle system. If you do feel aggressive, however, the encounter system allows you to time your attacks for extra damage, then dodge enemy attacks in a style reminiscent of top-down shooters.

This game deserves its praise. I recently played it and I wish it never ended. I was fully immersed, it was definitely a great experience.
An array of memorable characters and scenes, expresive mechanics that merge with the plot and tie perfectly into the overarching themes. Instant masterpiece.

To anyone considering getting this game. GET IT RIGHT NOW. This game is a Sterling example of how good video games can be. The gameplay, story, soundtrack, visuals, and characters are all crafted by a master who goes by the name of Toby "Radiation" Fox. He deserves every last piece of credit for this game and how well it was done. This will forever go down in video game history as one of the greatest games ever created. It's up there with Dark Souls, Halo, Fallout 3, etc. Only little piece of advice I can give you though. DON'T KILL A FLOWER.

Obviously this is the worst game ever. I mean, how am I supposed to play a bullet hell game if I can't see through my tears?!
For everyone fan of the Earthbound serie / quirky, realist humor. Refering Yume Nikki, the dream exploration simulator.
The less you know about Undertale,the more you will like it. I know,it may sound illogical but this is a special case. If you don't like RPGs that much,don't worry,Undertale always has a new enemy or NPC that will be a challenge and a great experience. There are multiple endings depending on what you do and what don't,and I highly recommend to go Pacifist on your first time,it's worth it. One of the best games I have ever played,it is really an unique experience and should be played by those who call themselves Gamers.
