Outlast: Whistleblower
Outlast: Whistleblower is the first (and planned only) DLC episode for Outlast. In the DLC, the player plays as Waylon Park, the defected IT employee who first emails Miles Upshur to tip him of the sinister happenings at Mount Massive Asylum. The beginning of the DLC takes place prior to the beginning of the main game, and as it progresses its events occur simultaneously with the main games. The gameplay remains unchanged.

I have to agree that it was better than the main game. The main game had a lot of fetch quest you had to do while also trying to hide from the variants, which were honestly frustrating and ruined the submersion of it. In this, however, they kind of just let you wonder around and really feel the environment. There's still aspects of the main game in it, but I felt like they were done better. It was also rather short but still immersive and the important variants were a lot more interesting. Defiantly recommend this one.
