Fallout 3

Fallout 3 is an open-world action role-playing game set in the post-apocalyptic Capital Wasteland, the ruins of Washington, D.C., in the year 2277. Players take on the role of the Lone Wanderer, a resident of Vault 101 who leaves the safety of the underground shelter in search of their missing father.

As players explore the devastated wasteland, they encounter rival factions, mutated creatures, and fellow survivors while completing quests that shape the story and the world around them. Character progression, exploration, and player choice are central to the experience, with the V.A.T.S. targeting system allowing combat to shift between real-time action and cinematic, strategic attacks.
