Tom Clancy's The Division

New York is in trouble. A devastating epidemic sweeps through the city and in the wake of the disease basic services fail one by one. Without food and water, the streets are in chaos and new factions rise to profit from the mayhem. Amid the chaos, a classified unit of self-supported sleeper agents known as The Division is activated and tasked with one mission: take back New York.

Fighting to piece the city back together one block at a time, the agents of The Division will combat the chaos driving New York to the brink and be face not only the effects of the deadly virus, but the rising threat of those who unleashed it. New York is in trouble. And it’s up to you to save the city.

● A LIVING, BREATHING WORLD Enter a universe where time of day and weather conditions impact your gaming experience. Use the environment for strategic advantage to dominate fights and ambush your enemies. Utilize your gas mask to provide protection from the virus, and upgrade it to enter the most highly contaminated areas.

● URBAN JUNGLE New York City is being overrun by hostile groups trying to take advantage of the crisis. Beware of the thugs who roam in packs through the city, preying on the weak. Fight against the Cleaners, who wear hazmat suits and wield flamethrowers, set on cleaning New York from the virus by burning everything and everyone. Engage with the Rikers, a gang of convicts that escaped Rikers Island when the chaos hit, and who are ravaging the city and vying for its control.

● GEAR UP AND CUSTOMIZE YOUR AGENT Harness state-of-the-art technology, both networked and prototype, as a member of The Division. Customize your character and your backpack, your lifeline in mid-crisis New York. Communicate with other agents at all times with your smartwatch. Loot fallen enemies and customize and level up your weapons, gear, and skills.

● CUTTING-EDGE TECH Choose and upgrade your skills, and synergize with your teammates to increase your chances of winning in combat. Switch your skills such as the seeker mine that finds your enemy and explodes; the turret that triggers high-octane and efficient diversion; or the pulse that gives you a tactical read on your environment. Use the ECHO tech, a data collection tool that renders moments frozen in time, to learn valuable information about your immediate environment and find hidden loot, and help uncover the truth behind the pandemic.

● SEAMLESS MULTIPLAYER: THE DARK ZONE Enter the Dark Zone, a walled-off quarantine zone in the middle of Manhattan where the most valuable loot was left behind when the military evacuated. It’s also the most dangerous area in the game, where fear, betrayal, and tension are high. Team up with other players to take down your enemies and extract legendary loot via helicopter. It’s your choice to collaborate with other agents, or attack them and steal their loot.

● SNOWDROP ENGINE Powered by the fully next-gen Snowdrop engine, Tom Clancy’s The Division sets a new bar in video game realism and open world rendering. Experience a chaotic and devastated New York like you’ve never seen before.

A decent MMORPG Shooter. The worst thing is that Massive Entertainment are the ones working on it. Could have been sooooo much better, sooooo muuuch better if they put someone else on control of things. Lots of unbalanced items, game is repetitive after reaching level 30 (You basically need the Season Pass to even do something else besides completing the story line). Dark Zone is fun but it's full of russians and arabics multi-grouping/4-man grouping using cheesy tactics to constantly kill others (Camping in tight spots where there is only one entrance available). Going Rogue is not worth it since it gives you EXTREMELY small rewards upon surviving. Ubisoft equals cash grab and nothing else. They promised Year 2 content that will make the game less repetitive (as I said previously) but I doubt it, if they don't swap the dev team then it will continue to be meh. Anybody thinking of starting this, think about getting Destiny 2. Bungie is working on that (Halo creator), would likely be much more serious than what this Division was.

The people that keep complaining about the game being boring are the ones that did not put enough effort into it to be satisfied. The Division does have potential to be standing on the top for a long while. The biggest issue about it is no other than the typical Ubisoft itself (Unless they do INDEED complete their promises and hopefully add something interesting in the second year of the title besides the SMALL CHANGES that will appear at the release of it, the game could get extremely bad otherwise). My suggestion: Play with a friend if you already got it or u are planning to get in the near future, it's good but lacks the staff effort for the moment (hopefully not a permanent issue). Wake up Ubisoft. This is good shiet.

Extremely boring game. Had fun playing the beta but got bored of the game after it released in a few hours.
